Walk For Alzheimer’s at Christie Pits

For the third year, the Alzheimer Society of Toronto has been blessed with amazing volunteers who lead the Walk For Alzheimer’s here in Toronto. They are champions, providing hours of volunteer support, encouraging others to walk with us and fundraise to support the 46,000 people living with dementia and their families here in Toronto. We’d like to introduce you to our Christie Pits Walk Committee!

Returning as Chair for the Christie Pits committee is Mary Sadleir (second from the right in the committee photo), who brings with her a great passion for the cause. Mary led her committee and all of the Christie Pits walk teams to great success last year and we know this year will be even better! With live music, a mix of generations, and tons of on-site fun, we can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning.

Mary can’t do it alone though; she is joined by committee members Joanne Clarke, Jake Forsyth, and Angela Zhang. We met Joanne Clarke last year, and she told us that she walks in memory of her two aunts. Read Joanne’s story here. Jake and Angela are new to the Christie Pits committee this year, and ready to give it their all! The whole committee is looking forward to meeting you on May 27th.
