DESCRIPTION:This gentle low impact dance fitness class with Jenn uses diverse music and simple dance movements to create a dynamic and energizing aerobic workout. With easy to follow moves that can be done seated or standing\, this upbeat class is set to positive\, playful and uplifting music. You will be motivated by the joyful\, welcoming and supportive environment that encourages you to let go and have fun! No experience required. \nJenn Hicks is a Personal Trainer Size and Inclusive Fitness Specialist who has taught dance fitness classes for the past 17 years. She was named NOW Magazine’s Best Virtual Fitness Instructor for 2020. Jenn customizes routines for every class and helps attendees modify steps or movements whenever they need a little extra care. \nThis program will be held on Zoom. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link to participate. \nPLEASE NOTE: Dance Fitness will revert to starting at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm beginning January 8th

DESCRIPTION:The TEACH (Training\, Education\, and Assistance for Caregiving at Home) Program is a support group for unpaid caregivers of persons with dementia which consists of 4 weekly group sessions that are each 90 minutes long. \nLearning objectives: \n\nCoaches care partners in practical communication and coping skills\nFocus on common caregiving themes including; self-care\, healthcare system navigation\, relationship changes and future planning\nProvides opportunity to share and learn from other care partners\n\nSession dates:\nThursdays from 11:00am–12:30pm\, starting April 9th\, ending April 30th. \n\nWeek 1 – April 9th\nWeek 2 – April 16th\nWeek 3 – April 23rd\nWeek 4 – April 30th\n\nPlease note\, participants are expected to commit to all 4 sessions listed above. Kindly register only if these dates work for you. \n  \nIf registration is closed or this schedule does not work for you at this time\, you are encouraged to fill out the form on this webpage: https://alz.to/programs/support-services/enhancing-care-program/. SUMMARY:EASE Session 1: Supporting the Symptoms of Dementia
DESCRIPTION:The E.A.S.E program is a 4-session program developed for PSWs currently working with persons living with dementia.\nThe program will engage PSWs in dementia education\, giving practical tools to improve the level of care and support provided to persons living with dementia and the PSW – a real-life approach. PSW’s will leave each session with tools/ideas to use right away on the job. \nNOTE: Each session is a stand-alone. A separate registration is required for each session. \n  \nDates:\nThursdays\, April 9th\, 16th\, 23rd\, and 30th \nTime:\n7pm – 8pm \n  \nSession 1 – Supporting Symptoms of Dementia\nIn this session we explore the symptoms of dementia\, what they may look like and the impact they can have when giving support to person’s living with dementia.
