DESCRIPTION:Facing Dementia Together is a problem-solving workshop for unpaid care partners of persons living with dementia. It offers a safe and supportive space to learn\, reflect\, and build skills to manage daily caregiving challenges. \n  \nIn this one-day\, in-person small-group workshop\, you will receive: \n\nSimple tools to solve daily caregiving problems\nHands-on coaching with experienced group leaders to practice new strategies\nThe chance to connect with others who understand your experience\n\n  \nSession dates: \nWorkshop: Monday November 2\, 2026 – 9:00am-4:15pm (in-person at AST Head office) \nFollow-up session one: Monday November 16\, 2026 – 10:00am-11:30am (online via Zoom) \nFollow-up session two: Monday November 30\, 2026 – 10:00am-11:30am (online via Zoom) \n  \nNote: The Facing Dementia Together Workshop is a new addition to the Enhancing Care Program (https://carersontario.ca/) created by the Reitman Centre at Mt. Sinai Hospital. \nIf registration is closed or this schedule does not work for you at this time\, you are encouraged to fill out the form on this webpage. Additionally\, you can check out our ongoing support groups that are available for registration month-to-month.
