DESCRIPTION:Sounds in the Key of Life – Music Program (6-Week Series) \nWeekly on Wednesdays from August 20 – September 24 from 1:30 P.M – 3:00 P.M at St-Andrew’s United Church located at 117 Bloor St East. \n August 20th\, 27th\, September 3rd\, 10th\, 17th\, 24th\,  2025 \nThis weekly program offers a fun and welcoming environment to celebrate the songs and sounds you love and discover some new ones along the way. While active participation is never required there will be plenty of opportunity to listen\, improvise\, sing\, and discuss music for those keen to take part. \nJohnny Spence is a Musician\, Producer\, Composer & Audio Engineer who strives to move through the world with open-ears and an open-heart. Johnny’s artistic practice goes hand-in-hand with a strong belief in community building which has led to years of work in arts facilitation and community engagement across Tkaronto. \nThis series is appropriate for learners at all levels and provides opportunities for each participant to engage at their own pace and in their own style. \nFor more information about this program\, please contact Kristin Bartlett or by phone at 416-389-6099

DESCRIPTION:Join Hannah and Alex\, summer students of Alzheimer Society Toronto for an afternoon filled with connection\, relaxation\, laughter and most importantly\, singing. Alongside Hannah and Alex\, you will meet Charlie\, a calm natured\, kind and loyal pup! 🐶   Escape the humidity and heat of the city and join us for a sing-a-long to familiar campfire classics. (Country Roads by John Denver spark for anyone?) You will able to enjoy cool refreshments\, indulge in a sweet marshmallow treat\, say hello to our four-legged\, furry friend and relax into the calm atmosphere. And get ready for some FUN!   Hannah and Alex have created a playlist that will send you back to the sounds of the 70s but don’t worry – it includes hits we all know and love to sing around a fire with an accompanying guitar.  Requests are welcomed through the Registration link! Experience an afternoon that will transport you back to a time where you gathered together with friends to enjoy the sounds of the summer.
