DESCRIPTION:Join Hannah and Alex\, summer students of Alzheimer Society Toronto for an afternoon filled with connection\, relaxation\, laughter and most importantly\, singing. Alongside Hannah and Alex\, you will meet Charlie\, a calm natured\, kind and loyal pup! 🐶   Escape the humidity and heat of the city and join us for a sing-a-long to familiar campfire classics. (Country Roads by John Denver spark for anyone?) You will able to enjoy cool refreshments\, indulge in a sweet marshmallow treat\, say hello to our four-legged\, furry friend and relax into the calm atmosphere. And get ready for some FUN!   Hannah and Alex have created a playlist that will send you back to the sounds of the 70s but don’t worry – it includes hits we all know and love to sing around a fire with an accompanying guitar.  Requests are welcomed through the Registration link! Experience an afternoon that will transport you back to a time where you gathered together with friends to enjoy the sounds of the summer.

SUMMARY:The Royal Conservatory - Rebanks Fellows Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Rebanks Family Fellowship and International Performance Residency Program at The Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School is the only one of its kind in Canada\, offering a rich curriculum for career development. Alumni of the program grace the world’s great stages\, including Carnegie Hall\, Wigmore Hall and Koerner Hall\, and perform with major orchestras in Canada and abroad. \nEnjoy a 45-minute chamber music recital by one of the 2024-25 Rebanks Fellows\, followed by a short Q&A session led by Program Manager Lauren Levorson-Wong. \nThe concert takes place at the Royal Conservatory of Music\,  273 Bloor Street W. \nFor more information about this program please contact Kristin Bartlett \nIf more than one person will be attending\, you must register each guest. His band the Steve Koven Trio has toured the world for more than two decades\, and they have been coined the ‘Canadian Cultural Ambassadors’. As an educator\, Steve has been teaching in the Faculty of Music at Toronto’s York University\, teaching Contemporary Improvisation and Jazz Piano Studies.
