Please note that when you are signing up\, you are committing to all four weeks that start on June 3rd. \nJoin us for a Seated Boxing program.  This unique and enjoyable fitness experience\, led by a former Canadian professional boxer\, is a fun and engaging way to stay active. Classes are done from a seated position\, with the option to stand if comfortable. \nParticipants learn the six basic boxing punches and practice simple combinations that help keep the mind sharp while the body moves. Exercise can improve heart health\, strength\, coordination\, and fine motor skills. \nEveryone works at their own pace\, and each participant receives individual attention within the group setting.  We also include gentle brain training activities during the class to support memory\, language\, and problem-solving skills. \nThis program is intended for people living with dementia along with their care partners. Light refreshments available.
