This series—led by storyteller Sage Tyrtle—celebrates the magic of shared memories and the connections they bring. No experience needed!  \nTo lighten the mood\, we will have short laughing exercises with Magarita Caropresi.  \nWhat you’ll experience: \n\nGentle\, inspiring prompts to spark your unique stories\nA safe and supportive space where all voices and cognitions are respected and valued\nCreative expression through words\, gestures\, or keepsakes\nThe power of storytelling to connect and uplift \n\n Every story is a gift—whether whispered\, remembered\, or newly discovered. Come as you are\, and let’s celebrate the tales that make us\nwho we are.  \nSage Tyrtle is a professional storyteller and writer based in Toronto. Her work appears in New Delta Review\, The Offing\, Lunch Ticket\, and Apex Magazine. She’s told stories on NPR\, CBC Radio\, and PBS’s Stories from the Stage\, and has performed in Canada\, the U.S.\, and India. This is an opportunity to enjoy simple refreshments and make new friends in a Dementia Friendly Community Space. \nThe Community Connections Cafe focuses on social wellness for people with memory loss or Dementia\, and their care partners. The program is informal with the intended atmosphere of a local coffee shop where participants can chat over a beverage\, do something creative\, or play a game. \n  \nEvery 2nd Wednesday of the month from 12:30pm to 2:30pm In-person at our AST Mid Scarborough Hub.\nAddress: 2658 Eglinton Avenue East\, Scarborough\, ON\, M1K2S3 \n  \nRegistration is required for this program and closes at midnight (12am) the day prior to the event.\nPlease specify the number of guests attending when you register. DESCRIPTION:Monday\, November 24th from 3:00 – 4:00 P.M at the Royal Conservatory of Music Mazzolenni Concert Hall located at 273 Bloor St. West. \nSign up today to experience the amazing talent of this year’s Rebank Fellowship Musicians within the beautiful Mazzoleni Concert Hall. \nThe Rebanks Family Fellowship and International Performance Residency Program at The Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School is the only one of its kind in Canada\, offering a rich curriculum for career development. Alumni of the program grace the world’s great stages\, including Carnegie Hall\, Wigmore Hall and Koerner Hall\, perform with major orchestras in Canada and abroad\, and are members of leading chamber ensembles such as The ARC Ensemble\, The Rolston Quartet and The Dior Quartet.
