His band the Steve Koven Trio has toured the world for more than two decades\, and they have been coined the ‘Canadian Cultural Ambassadors’. As an educator\, Steve has been teaching in the Faculty of Music at Toronto’s York University\, teaching Contemporary Improvisation and Jazz Piano Studies. It is an hour of pure joy and fun! \nSteve Koven is a composer\, performer\, producer\, educator\, and filmmaker. His band the Steve Koven Trio has toured the world for more than two decades\, and they have been coined the ‘Canadian Cultural Ambassadors’. As an educator\, Steve has been teaching in the Faculty of Music at Toronto’s York University\, teaching Contemporary Improvisation and Jazz Piano Studies. DESCRIPTION:U-First!® for Health Care Professionals supports health care and other service providers who work with people living with dementia or other cognitive impairments. U-First!® builds on existing curriculum and encourages learners to make lifelong learning a goal. The vision is to provide every member of the care team with consistent education on key skills and best care practices. DESCRIPTION:Our peer-led support groups provide care partners with the opportunity to discuss both practical and emotional needs related to caring for a family member with Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementias. These groups are facilitated by volunteers who have lived experience as care partners and have received training on group facilitation.
