DESCRIPTION:Are you or a loved one part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and impacted by dementia and/or Alzheimer’s Disease? \nThe Alzheimer Society of Toronto will be running a support group that will provide an opportunity for participants to share and learn with others in a supportive and inclusive environment. \nParticipants will decide on the focus and direction of the group\, and both practical and emotional needs will be explored. \n  \nThe support group meets virtually on the last Thursday of every month from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm using Zoom \n(The date for December 2024 is moved to the 2nd last Thursday of the month)

DESCRIPTION:Join us for an in-person Social/Recreation program. \nJoin our monthly social at our Mid-Scarborough Hub! This program is an opportunity to meet like minded people\, to engage in meaningful conversations\, tap into our creativity and get active. This two hour social is a great way to find your community and partake in gentle movement to great playlists. East End Friends is intended for people living with dementia and their care partners\, and it is offered through a culturally inclusive\, accessible and dementia-friendly lens.
