DESCRIPTION:Fridays from February 21st – March 28th\, 2025 (6-week program) from 1:30-2:30pm at Elms Pool located at 45 Golfdown Dr\, Etobicoke\, ON M9W 2H8 \nAquafit is not swimming\, it is a way to exercise in the water that can accommodate all ages\, fitness levels\, health considerations and abilities. It welcomes participants to choose their own intensity level\, speed and range of motion. The principles of water protect joints\, and build strength\, flexibility\, balance and endurance. Aquafit not only benefits the body\, it stimulates the mind and rejuvenates the spirit. \nCatherine Lyons-Bozzo is a WaterART Certified Master Trainer\, certified in Shallow/Deep\, Boot Camp\, Mind/Body\, Parent/Tot\, Arthritic\, Common Movement Disorders\, Running\, Master Trainer\, Senior H20 and Senior Land. She has many aquatic and sport certifications including being a Lifeguard\, Swim Instructor\, Swim Team Coach\, Figure Skating Coach and Gymnastics Coach. Over the past number of years\, Catherine has reinvented her career and has embarked on an Aquafit Journey with the City of Toronto\, Kimel Brain & Health Centre and private entities. DESCRIPTION:Minds in Motion® is an evidence-based program that includes physical activity\, socialization\, and mentally stimulating activities for people living with dementia and their care partners to participate in together. \nThis program runs once a week for 8 weeks In-Person at St-Andrew’s United Church located at 117 Bloor St. E\, Toronto\, On\, M4W 1A9. \nWednesdays from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM from February 19th – April 9th 2025\nFeb 19th\, 26th\, March 5th\, 12th\, 19th\, 26th\, April 2nd\, & 9th 2025\n \nThis is a great environment to establish new friendships with others who are living with similar experiences. Combining physical\, mental\, and social stimulation improves brain health and may slow the disease progression.

DESCRIPTION:This gentle low impact dance fitness class with Jenn uses diverse music and simple dance movements to create a dynamic and energizing aerobic workout. With easy to follow moves that can be done seated or standing\, this upbeat class is set to positive\, playful and uplifting music. You will be motivated by the joyful\, welcoming and supportive environment that encourages you to let go and have fun! No experience required. \nJenn Hicks is a Personal Trainer Size and Inclusive Fitness Specialist who has taught dance fitness classes for the past 17 years. She was named NOW Magazine’s Best Virtual Fitness Instructor for 2020. Jenn customizes routines for every class and helps attendees modify steps or movements whenever they need a little extra care. \nThis program will be held on Zoom. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link to participate. \nPLEASE NOTE: Dance Fitness will revert to starting at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm beginning January 8th

SUMMARY:Aquafit - Creative Movement Series
DESCRIPTION:Fridays from February 21st – March 28th\, 2025 (6-week program) from 1:30-2:30pm at Elms Pool located at 45 Golfdown Dr\, Etobicoke\, ON M9W 2H8 \nAquafit is not swimming\, it is a way to exercise in the water that can accommodate all ages\, fitness levels\, health considerations and abilities. It welcomes participants to choose their own intensity level\, speed and range of motion. The principles of water protect joints\, and build strength\, flexibility\, balance and endurance. Aquafit not only benefits the body\, it stimulates the mind and rejuvenates the spirit. \nCatherine Lyons-Bozzo is a WaterART Certified Master Trainer\, certified in Shallow/Deep\, Boot Camp\, Mind/Body\, Parent/Tot\, Arthritic\, Common Movement Disorders\, Running\, Master Trainer\, Senior H20 and Senior Land. She has many aquatic and sport certifications including being a Lifeguard\, Swim Instructor\, Swim Team Coach\, Figure Skating Coach and Gymnastics Coach. Over the past number of years\, Catherine has reinvented her career and has embarked on an Aquafit Journey with the City of Toronto\, Kimel Brain & Health Centre and private entities. DESCRIPTION:The Rebanks Family Fellowship and International Performance Residency Program at The Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School is the only one of its kind in Canada\, offering a rich curriculum for career development. Alumni of the program grace the world’s great stages\, including Carnegie Hall\, Wigmore Hall and Koerner Hall\, and perform with major orchestras in Canada and abroad. \nEnjoy a 45-minute chamber music recital by one of the 2024-25 Rebanks Fellows\, followed by a short Q&A session led by Program Manager Lauren Levorson-Wong. \nThe concert takes place at the Royal Conservatory of Music\,  273 Bloor Street W. \nFor more information about this program please contact Kristin Bartlett \nIf more than one person will be attending\, you must register each guest.
