DESCRIPTION:IN FRAME is a six-session program for caregivers of people living with diagnosed or suspected cognitive impairment. Through a combination of group and individual sessions\, participants will create a short personal film exploring “a day in the life” of their caregiving experience. \nUsing their phones\, photographs and past videos\, participants will have an opportunity to express their experiences creatively and connect with other caregivers. No previous filmmaking experience is needed. The facilitator will provide support with planning\, filming and editing. \n  \nLearning Objectives \n\nReflect on everyday caregiving experiences\, including relationships\, emotions and personal identity.\nExplore creative storytelling through images\, sound and personal memories.\nLearn simple techniques for capturing meaningful moments using a phone.\nConnect with other caregivers through sharing films and participating in supportive discussion.\n\n  \nSession dates: \nSession 1 (Group) – October 30th\, 2pm-3:30pm\nSession 2 (Individual/In person/Virtual) – November 2nd 10am-11am & 1pm-2pm and November 3rd 10am-11am & 1pm-2pm\, November 6th 2pm-4pm (Optional Virtual Group drop-in)\nSession 3 (Group) – November 12th 2pm-3:30pm\, November 20th 1pm-3pm (Optional Virtual Group drop-in)\nSession 4 (Individual) – November 25th 9am-11am\, November 26th 9am-11am & 1pm-3pm\, November 27th 2pm-4pm\nSession 5 (Group) – December 4 2pm-4pm\nSession 6 (Group) – December 10th 1pm-2:30pm \n  \nWitnessing each other’s stories is an important part of IN FRAME.
