DESCRIPTION:5-Week Session\, Feb 12th\, 19th\, 26th\, March 5th\, (skipping March 12th) & March 19th 2027. \nClay Making with LUMP Studio \nJoin LUMP Studio at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto for a welcoming five-session clay-making program for people living with dementia and their care partners. Together\, we’ll explore the joy of working with clay—from shaping and building by hand to adding colour and glaze—while creating unique pieces to enjoy at home. \nParticipants will work with both air-dry and kiln-fired clay\, with gentle guidance and encouragement to create at their own pace. Each session makes space for creativity\, self-expression\, and social connection through the tactile experience of making with clay. \nNo previous experience is needed—all materials and tools are provided. Come as you are and enjoy making something together. \nFinished kiln-fired pieces will be returned approximately two to three weeks after the final session. \nAbout LUMP Studio \nLUMP Studio is a collaborative ceramic practice by Yvette Yanne and Liz Lau.
