This presentation will focus on providing participants with the knowledge of how communication can change over the couse of the disease and ways to supportively communicate with a person living with dementia.

Learning Objectives:

  • Increase your understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia
  • Recognize the impact has on communication
  • Develop strategies to improve communication
