In Person General Caregiver Support Group -2658 Eglinton E.

| FreeThis ongoing monthly, in-person support group provides an opportunity for people caring for a person living with dementia to come together and support each other through the caregiving experience. The goals of this group are to share personal feelings, increase our repertoire of coping strategies, feel less alone, and increase awareness of resources and supports in the community.
Topics for discussion will be tailored to group needs, and may include:
- Managing stress
- Ambiguous loss
- Anticipatory grief
- Guilt
- Family dynamics
- Self-care
- Understanding responsive behaviors
- Long-term care.
Dates and time: 4th Thursday every month, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
This is an in-person support group.

Maximum group size is 10.
