Join us for Music for Memory Care with New Song Music Therapy, a 6-week series happening in-person and facilitated by a music Therapist Thyra Andrews RP, MA, MTA, AVPT. Participants will be given the opportunity to discover more about themselves and enhance their relationships within a creative outlet of singing, music listening, and movement with the usage of drums, movement, and singing. This program is intended for people living with dementia and cognitive impairment. Caregivers are invited to join us and share the experience with the person they are supporting.
This series is appropriate for learners at all levels and provides opportunities for each participant to engage at their own pace and in their own style.
Face masks will be provided and encouraged to be worn throughout the duration of the program.
