We are grateful for the incredible support of everyone that attended our Gala in September and to all of our sponsors of the Unforgettable Evening Gala. The night was a great success raising over $440,000 to support the specialized training of Personal Support Workers who are caring for individuals living with Dementia. With this funding Alzheimer Society of Toronto aims to address the critical gap in dementia education by training 1,440 healthcare professionals. Ultimately, we believe that this will improve the quality of care provided to individuals with dementia and reducing the strain on our healthcare system.
