SUMMARY:The Emily & Bernice Early Stages Support Program
DESCRIPTION:These short-term support groups are for people living with early-stage memory loss\, mild cognitive impairment\, or dementia. These four-session support groups aim to improve quality of life by providing a space where people can share experiences\, discuss the emotional impact of a diagnosis and associated losses\, share coping strategies\, and support one another. \n\nThese groups are available in a virtual format (Zoom) and In-person. Each round consists of four weekly sessions that are 60 minutes long. Pre-screening with the person living with early-stage memory loss\, mild cognitive impairment\, or dementia is required for this group. \n\n\n\nInformation about this group: \nWhen: Wednesday November 20th\, November 27th\, December 4th\, and December 11th\nTime: 3:00pm – 4:00pm \nWhere: 20 Eglinton Ave West\, 16th Floor\, Toronto\n(Northwest corner of Yonge and Eglinton\, across the street from Yonge and Eglinton subway station.
