Join us for Pride in Our Memories, a 4-week art series designed to build community, celebrate identity, and invite self-expression through a variety of artistic mediums in a welcoming, inclusive space. 
 
Pride in Our Memories brings together 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals living with mild to moderate dementia and youth program participants from Friends of Ruby. The cross-generational arts programming, also open to care partners and allies, encourages participants to engage at their own pace and in their own unique way—no previous art experience is necessary. 
 
Pride in Our Memories is facilitated by Canvas Programs, a registered charity that provides empathy-based, arts-inspired education on 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion and consent. Canvas Programs’ expert facilitators will bring weekly art activities, reflection opportunities, and warmth in community to the shared space.
