This educational session will cover the definition of Dementia and its symptoms, the benefits of personalized music for people living with dementia and understanding the role of the Alzheimer’s Society Music Project.
Discover the power of music in this uplifting 8-week choral program, led by Applied Music and Health students from the University of Toronto. Together, we’ll use the joy of singing to boost memory, attention, and communication skills through engaging, personalized music-based exercises incorporating evidence-based applications of Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT)®.
Enjoy a 45-minute chamber music recital by one of the 2025-26 Rebanks Fellow Musicians, followed by a short Q&A session led by the Royal Conservatory Program Lauren Levorson-Wong.
