Clay Making with LUMP Studio
Categories: Active Living, Art

| 5-Week Session, Feb 12th, 19th, 26th, March 5th, (skipping March 12th) & March 19th 2027.
Clay Making with LUMP Studio Join LUMP Studio at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto for a welcoming five-session clay-making program for people living with dementia and their care partners. Together, we’ll explore the joy of working with clay—from shaping and building by hand to adding colour and glaze—while creating unique pieces to enjoy at home. Participants will work with both air-dry and kiln-fired clay, with gentle guidance and encouragement to create at their own pace. Each session makes space for creativity, self-expression, and social connection through the tactile experience of making with clay. No previous experience is needed—all materials and tools are provided. Come as you are and enjoy making something together. Finished kiln-fired pieces will be returned approximately two to three weeks after the final session. About LUMP Studio LUMP Studio is a collaborative ceramic practice by Yvette Yanne and Liz Lau. Between us, we have over 20 years of experience working with clay in the UK, Hong Kong, and Canada. We love bringing people together through welcoming, creative, and accessible clay experiences, building community one piece of clay at a time. |
