Facing Dementia Together is a problem-solving workshop for unpaid care partners of persons living with dementia. It offers a safe and supportive space to learn, reflect, and build skills to manage daily caregiving challenges.

In this one-day, in-person small-group workshop, you will receive:

• Simple tools to solve daily caregiving problems
• Hands-on coaching with experienced group leaders to practice new strategies
• The chance to connect with others who understand your experience

Session dates:

Workshop: Wednesday July 29, 2026 – 9:00am-5:00pm (in-person at AST Head office)

Follow-up session one: Tuesday August 11, 2026  – 10:00am-11:30am (online via Zoom)

Follow-up session two: Tuesday August 25, 2026 – 10:00am-11:30am (online via Zoom)

Registration and an assessment are prerequisites. Registration closes on Thursday July 23rd. An Enhancing Care Clinician in the Social Work Department will contact you for your assessment. Phone screenings usually take 10-15 minutes. Assessments can be done in-person or via Zoom and usually take 30-90 minutes.
