Join us for a two-part intergenerational puppetry workshop series, where you’ll learn new skills, explore your creativity, and connect with Grade 9 Drama students (ages 14–15) from University of Toronto Schools.

With guidance from a Drama teacher, you’ll learn the fundamentals of puppetry and work alongside the students to create and perform an original short puppet show together.

Throughout the workshops, we’ll explore how creative experiences can bring people of different generations together and consider:

• What can we learn about life, resilience, and joy from people of different generations?
• What does it mean to truly listen to someone?
• How can puppetry help us tell stories with depth, care, and imagination?
• How can shared creative experiences foster connection and community?

Please register for ONE of the following two-session options:

• Thursdays, November 19 & 26: 1:20–2:30 p.m.
• Fridays, November 20 & 27: 1:20–2:30 p.m.
• Thursdays, December 3 & 10: 2:35–3:45 p.m.
