Losing someone who had dementia can be a unique and complex experience for those who cared for them. This presentation will explore these issues, identify various approaches to grief, and suggest ways for care partners to cope with loss.
Are you part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and caring for an individual diagnosed with OR suspected of having cognitive impairment?
This monthly caregiver support group will provide an opportunity for care partners who are part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to share and learn with other care partners in a supportive and inclusive environment.
We will focus on three fundamental hand building skills: making a pinch pot, a coil pot and finally a slab pot. The skills required are relatively simple and accessible to anyone with the right encouragement and support.
