The Mid-Town Social focuses on social wellness for people with Dementia and their care partners. This session will be facilitated by Seema Anwar, a Toronto based textile designer.  Seema has a background working with textile designing, watercolor, oil, pen work, glass painting, color therapy as well as Reiki and meditation techniques. Seema has facilitated art workshops with seniors at the TNO organization, Parents and Children with Autism, Thorncliffe Group, Malton Women Council for Mental Health and Afghan Women Organisation. 

Through her art she seeks to bring joy and release stress in the community and deliver messages of cultural awareness and environmental responsibility. Join her in this textile art session and share the positive energy and satisfaction that comes with creativity and connection. The program is flexible and will be catered to the interests and needs of the group participants.
