Toronto Dementia Research Alliance (TDRA) is working together to better understand, prevent, and treat dementia by creating a stronger link between basic science and clinical research, embedding research into care, improving outreach and education to the community, and increasing the efficiency of collaborative research processes across the city.
Alzheimer Society of Canada Research Opportunities

Landmark Study
The Alzheimer Society of Canada’s Landmark Study uses data modelling to forecast the nation’s dementia future. The study data is being analyzed in two reports. The first report, from 2022, looked at overall dementia numbers. The second report, released in 2024, looks at dementia across demographic groups.

Alzheimer Society Research Program
The Alzheimer Society Research Program is one of Canada’s most innovative hubs for dementia research, helping the brightest minds in the field spark their work from idea to impact. Since 1989, we have invested over $83 million in grants and awards toward innovative dementia research nationally.
