This very special, annual event brings together young professionals, community leaders and aspiring philanthropists in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

New to Memory Ball? Here’s what you can expect: live music and a DJ, an open bar, small bites, a silent auction and raffle with great prizes to be won, a photo booth and other activations, and a complementary gift bag at the end of the night.

With the generous support of our guests and sponsors, we’ve donated over half a million dollars to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto over the past seven years. Join us in 2022 for another unforgettable night!

Scotiabank Marathon


The Alzheimer Society of Toronto will be participating in its 16th Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon in October. Runners and Walkers have helped raise over half a million dollars for the Society by participating in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge. These funds have been crucial in helping the lives of those living with dementia, their care partners and loved ones.

Key Dates:

Due to the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it has not been decided whether the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon will happen in person or virtually.

In-person: October 17, 2021

Virtual: October 1, 2021 – October 31, 2021



There are many different distances for runners and walkers to choose from: 

Marathon – $40

Half Marathon – $40

10K – $40

5K – $40

1K Kids Race – $25

The Whole Shebang (42K, 21K, 10K, 5K) – $60

Hat Trick – $60

Marathon Relay – $160
