COVID-19 UPDATE:

In light of our community being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Alzheimer Society Toronto (AST) has modified our services to a virtual platform. AST recognizes that in times of community distress many individuals want to be of assistance, helping where there is need. The offer of help and willingness to support our organization through volunteer service is greatly appreciated. Our organization’s priority is the health and safety of our community. AST continues to adapt to our community’s needs in a rapidly changing service reality. We encourage you to check back for remote roles as they become available.

Volunteers are an essential part of our success as an organization. With your help and contribution, we will continue to develop vibrant communities free of stigma while fostering the inclusion of people living with dementia, their families, neighbours, coworkers, and care partners.

AST welcomes volunteers of all ages and skill levels to help throughout the year. Whether you are looking to support clients directly through our recreation programs, take part in the short-term event and fundraising support, looking to increase community awareness, or assist with administrative tasks, we would love to hear from you!
