Together, we’ll use the joy of singing to boost memory, attention, and communication skills through engaging, personalized music-based exercises incorporating evidence-based applications of Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT)®.

    U-First!® is a training program that helps non-registered health care providers develop a common knowledge base, language, values and approach to caring for people with Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive impairment by understanding the person and associated behaviour changes, and working as a team to develop individualized support strategies.

    This workshop will review the importance of Advance Care Planning, and the steps involved in the process, in the case where one becomes mentally incapable of making their health care decisions.
