We are pleased to welcome Dr. Amer Burhan, Co-Director of Research at the Toronto Memory Program, who will discuss understanding and responding to agitation in dementia—an important topic for staff, caregivers, and families navigating behavioural changes.

About Dr. Amer Burhan Dr. Burhan is a geriatric and neuropsychiatrist and Co-Director of Research at the Toronto Memory Program. He is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and specializes in Alzheimer disease, with a focus on prevention and the management of behavioural symptoms.
