Understanding Parkinson’s Disease: Recognizing Symptoms, Understanding Treatments, and Updates on the Latest Research

This webinar will explain what Parkinson’s Disease is, how it is related to dementia, risk factors associated with Parkinson’s Disease, and strategies/support for people living with Parkinson’s Disease. It will introduce how to address these risk factors, as well as existing treatments.
The webinar will also explore a study at Baycrest in Toronto that is looking for participants. The study looks at how people living with dementia and their care partners access and use assistive technology products (e.g. reminder apps, safety devices).
