Friday October 25th to November 29th (6-week series) from 1:30 P.M – 3:30 P.M at Toronto Crafts 388 Carlaw Ave Unit 200A, Toronto, ON M4M 3P1

Soroush Lotfahmadi is a woodworking instructor and the founder of Toronto Crafts, with over five years of experience in various design and fabrication studios. His expertise includes cabinetry, furniture, and finish carpentry. Soroush began his woodworking journey as an apprentice with the carpenters union, where he received training and continued exploring his interest in carpentry. Over the years, he has developed a deep understanding of woodworking and a passion for sharing his knowledge with others.

This six-week woodworking course is designed to introduce participants to the basic techniques of working with wood—perfect for those new to the craft. Throughout the course, we will explore a variety of woodworking skills, including carving, sanding, and assembling projects that range from practical to decorative. All tools and materials will be provided in this in-studio course.

Soroush’s approach to teaching emphasizes accessibility, ensuring that all participants feel encouraged and supported throughout their woodworking journey. His classes are not only about learning new skills but also about discovering the joy and versatility of working with wood. Whether you’re creating functional items for your home or handmade gifts for others, this course will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to continue your woodworking exploration beyond the studio
