January is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month

Each January, Alzheimer Societies across Canada lead Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, our campaign to break down barriers and remove the stigma surrounding dementia and its impact.
This year, the Alzheimer Society of Toronto wants to remind everyone that Life Continues. So Do We — The Spark in All of Us Endures.
What if we focused not on what dementia takes, but on what remains? At the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, we see people connected by a spark that cannot be erased — the spark that keeps us moving, creating, laughing, and living.

IG Private Wealth Management Unforgettable Gala
The Alzheimer Society of Toronto (AST) is very grateful for the overwhelming support received from sponsors and guests at the IG Private Wealth Management Unforgettable Gala on October 31, 2025. Thanks to your generosity, more than $364,000 was raised to help support the 51,000 individuals and families in Toronto who are navigating the journey of dementia. This vital funding will ensure crucial programs, resources, and care are available for everyone who requests them.
